On short notice

This week has started with the best news possible - my H1B petition approval notice has finally arrived. Frankly speaking, it happened so quickly that I am almost surprised that the only step between me and freedom is an interview in the Embassy. My feeling of independence from the surroundings is certainly on the rise.
